your wood elf has poor char rigging, i bet the FK will not work that well if animating, i only skimmed through, and notice that you have a green suit im guessing to do the animation

you're right on the char rigging, i wanted to rush to the end product and the biped rig is bound to the live mocap data. No FK/IK involved, although when I applied full IK to my biped rig it did animate pretty well.
Also the envelopes on the skin were poorly (quickly) done and I hope to touch it up in the future.
As for the green suit... haha not so much man, the green/blue suit you see is all done by the Kinect. incredible piece of machinery that is.
