No way she wouldn't do them now that they would help her life quest unless there's a strong motivator in the opposite direction. And anyway, tolerance to analgesia is dose-dependent unless she is on doses so high that it's unlikely she could have hidden other symptoms of abuse until now. If she truly were junkola they could just increase the dose temporarily until she secures this race, unless she has been omnijunkola top dogg dosing for many years which I honestly find kind of unlikely for someone of her ambition.

So either Hill was hooked on dope in the past and is too terrified to use it again for her will to power, or she has been a steadfast teetotaller her entire life while working with her drug dealer lush husband. The latter seems pretty damn unlikely I gotta say.
