Stark contrast between these two statements. US has been a nation for white people of good standing until 1965. Look at the changes introduced by the Immigration Act of 1965, and look at who lobbied for it. The US wasn't called a "melting pot" until the immigration act of this era was started being pushed.

I think its time to accept reality. There is no going back, all we can hope to fix is the problems at hand, which includes providing ways to help our minorities. We made this bed, now we have to lay in it, but at least we can wash the sheets.
Those problems are allowing free rides for illegals and providing ways for our citizens to come up. Getting rid of the socialist democratic plantations, creating or freeing up jobs (booting illegals), less welfare and less government is how it happens. Preventing people who don't speak our language or respect our way of life from entering our country.
There is no perfect solution, but at least the problems are being discussed.
