Beyond the fact that he looks like a complete phony while speaking publicly and that he didn't follow up with his pledge to back the gop nominee, I don't really remember much of the dirt on him that people claim. People like to claim he was some establishment dude, but his voting history clearly says otherwise. What exactly is he guilty of?
Hard to go by his voting history when he wasn't voting for long. No I don't point to that, there isn't really anything pro or con there to establish. He was there long enough to basically back his run for president, much in the same way 0bama approached it. Not saying they are directly comparative, just that they both did the same and used the short term position to vault themselves into the race.

Well, especially between Blitzers and myself, we had a lot of long winded debates over the two here early this year, Trump and Cruz. And from the beginning, I was fine with either of them. But as I did my research that began to change.

I don't know, you want some short points? He worked for Bush, was the Bush lawyer for the recount election in Florida, neocon Bush owes his win bigtime to this man, he's not some "outsider". His senate campaign run was off of a loan from goldman sachs, of which his wife worked for and is also a member of the CFR in all the bad ways. He has problems with the FEC for how he has handled his donations. He was born in Canada, is a Canadian citizen, and from a time when it was illegal in Canada to hold a dual citizenship; the US citizenship would have had to haven been denounced (100% ammo for the dems). Then he was all for the people, but supported voterless elections, which is just repulsive. Then even at RepCon, he thought he could just walk in and steal the nomination, which he tried, but his new neocon friends (or old) left him out to dry.

We heavily debated most of those points here plus many many more. Glad it's over.
