I imagine this is already obvious but just to put it out there: they probably don't keep a record of all spell casts (nothing depends on it).
Plus, if they were only interested in counting the number of times any given spell has been cast, it would be very little data (8 bytes per spell should cover it until the sun explodes). A complete record of every spell cast (when, where, who)
would be a lot of data, but again... what would they use it for?
