The real problem with halfling paladin / ranger is....they are good (since they have high wis and decent sta/str...they are actually suited to ranger / paladin).
And halfling gets racial sneak....letting it being the only race that gives paladin sneak (opening up a lot of questing that would normally be off-limits to paladins).
Gnomes, on the other hand, objectively suck
[You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] They are worse stat wise than everything for a paladin / sk. The ONLY reason someone would be a gnome sk / paladin is for RP....which means they would be rare, very rare, as rare as a gnome warrior.
So the game remains largely unchanged....other than 1 or 2 new gnomes that would be born running around. Where as a halfling paladin would become one of the most popular paladin classes.
