I don't believe in our ability to simulate systems as complex and chaotic as the weather. So the only way to proceed with confidence is through experiment, which we are not in a position to do. Also Lune, I don't understand why you seem totally unable to grasp the simple concept that one cannot determine causal relationships by pure observation, as one can never rule out a hidden joint cause, but your mind seems only capable of generating a stream of irrelevant straw men and insults. False equivalency on the last sentence. Because you don't believe in something doesn't mean it isn't real. You don't trust it for reasons that don't stand up to scrutiny tho'. The rationale is similar to evolution deniers who keep demanding that the sequence be more complete in order to trust it, but there's enough evidence to support the pattern, thing they're denying and demanding more from. It's a vicious cylce.
