I thought that Sol Ro focus items = +1 level , Staves are +2 and Sol Ro focus items work up until PET LEVEL 44, which means it buffs the magician level 49 SPELL.
Staves buff all pets after level 44 and sol ro focus items do not... (basically doesnt matter until Kunark)
This is how it was on live as i had the staff off innoruuk and remember the mechanics quite well.
