I wonder how a Discord server would turn out. I think the point is for people to forget about pixels and just PvP; but I'd predict the permadeath mechanic would cause some players to play suuuuuper safe, cowardly, always running and plugging and never fighting, then sniping kills of opportunity. I guess that is a game in and of itself, and people already play like that on Red, but I would hope for mechanics that encourage and facilitate actual combat.
Anyway. Hope you find some fun! I've been AFK for a month, but I had been enjoying Red. The Mad Haters here in Forumland make it sound bad, but there is fun to be had and friendships to be made and EQ to be played. I like it.

I'd love to have someone to play with on red.
We could start fresh and breeze through to levels, running Mage/Shaman or something equally broken.
