Technically there is no classic version of EQ has it has all been modified and even p1999 has been altered form the classic version. Example you can meditate with out having your fucking spell book out. That is an example of a feature that both versions of EQ deem to be retarded and not needed. The truth is that there are a lot of fan boys over here who are butt hurt because they think that are special to play a version of a game on a private server that the general public can not. The main ugliness that I see on the forms are the elites attitude that every game is a WOW clone if its not this version of EQ.
