Because the Beach rocks here. Party life is great. San Diego is the craft beer city , colleges out here are great, and we got Disneyland , Seaworld, Wild Animal Park , Zoo , Knotts Berry Farm , Universal Studios, Comic Con , and more...
So many better places to live? Perhaps some , but Southern Cali is a great place to live , IF you can afford it.

Forgot to mention: You'll be in a car roughly 3 to 6 hours a day on average when you go, I don't know, ANYWHERE! HURRAY!!!!!
