Its more about closure for me. Even back in the day when I quit Live I could have sold my character for a decent chunk of money but never did. To me characters I make are my characters, I don't want other people playing them, period. I know its an ancient way of approaching a game but hey this game is ancient so get off my lawn [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Even though I've only had a few chances to interact with you since I joined, I've really appreciated your approach to the game. What you said above really sums it up.
When I left Live for EQ2, both games were on the same account. When I retired from EQ2, I made the mistake of selling my account (with a raid-quality toon) to a guildmate so they could keep the character in the lineup. There was no way I was going back to EQ2; but in the process, I lost my access to the character who was my original "labor of love" on Live. I've always regretted that terribly. I tried to go back to Live and start from scratch, but by then it had changed too much...
Best wishes in life "after the game"!
