Yeah I would love a reset and regular resets. regular resets would force rmt to be worth nothing and would allow people to just play for fun. I wish that would happen as well. Everquest is still the best game ever made sadly there is no fun server to play on at the moment. Just waiting for season 2 of LOZ now.
I have nothing to prove to some of you plebs claiming my numbers are inaccurate. Ive sold some of those fungi's for as high as 470 onions. I did not sell them on red you damn fools. I sold the fungi's for 150k-200k on blue for the red fungi and sold the plat for 2.5k /1kpp
Why do you think the day i got banned rogean banned red for blue trades. It was because of the ridiculous amount of money I was making.
do the math yourself

As someone who has RMT'd on live and on red quite a bit, there are some real inaccuracies in what you posted.
Let's take the fungi for example. 150 an hour? Lol. We have to assume that you can hold the fungi camp solo for the entire day that you are online. Nobody in your guild can roll on it and you have to get lucky for one to drop. Now that you have this fungi you need to transfer it to an ALT since it's LORE. You transfer the item to an alt. Now you need to cover up your tracks a bit. People get banned for RMT all the time, you wouldn't just transfer it from your main directly to a character who can be traced to RMT otherwise your time selling items will be very short. This usually includes drop transferring items, transferring through friends and then drop x-fering some more.
Then you need to trade the red -- > blue. You need to sell the fungi. You need to set up your RMT post, wait for the item to sell and then "launder" the plat again before you either trade the plat back to red or set up a new post to sell your blue plat. You have to manage multiple accounts for this, preferably never using the same RMT character more the once and having more accounts just to hold the plat that hasn't sold yet. You never keep everything in one place.
Moving on to your customer base. There is only a finite amount of people on these servers that will buy things with RL cash. Since there are very few new players coming in, you deal with mostly the same people since you either don't care about RMT or are super against it. Let's say 25 people would consider buying items. 15 of them would buy a fungi. You sell 15 of those fungis. Let's say 5 of them want a 2nd fungi, so you sell 5 more. Now 16 of those people get banned in one of rogeans wave (400 people at a time, 300 people at a time - They love nothing more then to ban an RMTer). Your customer base that wanted a fungi now already has one, some of them two, and the other half has been banned. People RMT because they want something they don't have and do not want to spend the time in game to get it. Now that they RMT'd they have the shit they want so they stop RMTing. Some of those people banned are now turned off from RMTing because they realize that being banned is an actual possibility. Your customer base is ever shrinking, you risk being banned at any moment and you have to stay 3 steps ahead of the GM's - factor all this in and your really just a shmuck making 10-15 an hour. It's not worth it to RMT unless you quit and just sell all your shit and never come back. Farming items to sell is almost akin to a sweatshop.
