Alright, just logged into new battle.net (also which I had not loaded up for at least 1, maybe 2 years)
Looks like they are now selling D2 and the expansion, 10 bucks a piece. I'll assume it is now a digital copy and the key codes come with the purchase.
Is that the version you are playing?

i just checked, im pretty sure its old battle.net because the login name for D2 is different
