Parents should be sterilized and compelled to surrender their child to the state as reparations for contributing to the extinction of an endangered species in addition to their detrimental contributions to the global gene pool. Should the state find the child sufficiently deficient following education and maturation it too will be sterilized and given appropriate work to maintain a modest yet comfortable life.
