It's depressing that a portion of the bard community ruins the reputation for a majority of bards on this service. I didn't kite much past low 40s (and even then preferred to group despite being so much slower). I tried to only do it during low pop hours and avoided areas people were hunting. I never kited dreadlands, where your own failure means you kill others. There are a lot of good bards who did likewise when kiting or never did it at all.
Then I played all my other toons in various zones, and whether it was someone selling powerlevels or trying to level themselves ... there were dozens of times my play was interrupted by running from their scattered trains or simply not being able to find mobs to experience on.
It sucked. On each of my toons it sucked and I usually tried to work things out via tells. A common theme was a not-so-witty retort that I'm just jealous of how fast they're xping or referencing the "QQ" and go somewhere else. The worst offenders were those who tried to do it in dreadlands. If they failed (either by zoning or dying), others died. Always ... others died.
What I'd like to communicate to those bards?
There's no jealousy. I did it. I'm not bothered you're doing it in principle. I'm bothered with how you're doing it.
