Sorry it's late and my brain is low on blood sugar, but the clarify humans experienced rapid evolution in the last millenia, vs other primates and our Y's show correlate with that by being markedly divergent from other primates. (that's what I originaly remember from the article 2)

I swear to god i'm not backpeddling Azzar. It's just that the Y is full of a lot of junk and in humans it's markedly different, and less functional then in the other primates and that hasn't happened until fairly recently on a geological timescale.
