I made a
post on Uthgard's forums asking the same exact thing, cause some of my friends are messing around in Midgard too - but they erased their Hib chars. I'm hoping there's a better way than having to do that, atleast during beta anyway.
I have another friend and his crew coming over from another game, he's got a bandwidth restriction so he can only download the game at the end of the month (or the very beginning of next month,) not sure what classes his friends will be playing but he'll be an Eldritch (eq's wiz type.)
As for your Reaver question, it doesn't really matter - go with whatever you like best, or would want to 'roleplay' with.
