Should give the same effect to improve faction slightly, but depending on your deity choice it might not be enough.
Example: Erollisi Marr bard with AoN illusion... unlikely welcome

A good measuring stick is what the guards /con outside.
At least we have the Warrens now to be able to grind it up easier.
