I'd gotten tired from so much adventuring a bit ago.... so decided to go back to Kelethin for a little bit to rest.
But, I just couldn't stay away for long!! I was on a quest to become a great archer! I would never become one if I spent all my time relaxing in the greatest city in Norrath!
So I returned to the wakening lands last week to begin my hunt again....immediately going to the dragon rings to look for signs of Wuoshi. When I got there I noticed some fresh corpses, maybe only a day old....with claw marks....You see, when you become a dragon hunter you become much more sensitive to little things like that....it was surely a sign of Wuoshi!
I must have just missed him...but my knowledge of dragon patterns told me that he would be back in less than a week....and I'd be waiting.
A week passed and I returned, taking my spot on the hill I always watched for Wuoshi from.
Hours passed.....then half of the day...then the entire day....Wuoshi was nowhere to be seen! Had I missed him again while sleeping?! It was a long shot, but I guessed I would try again the next day....there wasn't much else to do....I had to find him!
The next day came and again more hours passed....then half a day....then the entire day!!! Had I missed him again?! It was almost time for sleep....but....just a little longer, I couldn't give up before midnight!!!
Just as I was beginning to pack up my arrows and leave for the day, I saw something emerge from the forest.....a giant? An ogre? A giant ogre?
No! It was Wuoshi!!! He had appeared!!!! I didn't miss him after-all!!

I was so excited! I rushed out to talk with him again! Surely me being such good friends with the dragons now, he might just give me his secret treasure?
"Wuoshi! Give me the bow!! I'm not going to give up!!!"

"Rosen?! Get off of me elf....or I'll eat you!"
"You won't eat me, I've been around you long enough to know you aren't so bad."
"Don't tempt me elf!"
I crawled up his neck to sit on his head.

"Look, I don't want to fight you....I just want the Skydarkener! It is for the good of the entire world! For the good of the elves!! And I can't be a great archer without it!"
"A dragon doesn't surrender their treasure so easily! If you want it....you must defeat me! It is the dragon way! But you are too weak elf...you haven't proven yourself worthy of such a weapon."

"Weak? I'm stronger than the last time you saw me!! Before I was 43...and now I'm 44!!!! Don't underestimate the elves!! Don't underestimate my holey power!!". ((get it? because archery...hole-y.... :3 ))
But Wuoshi refused....it looked like we would have to battle again....but I would need help...
I sent messages out to <Archers Vow> ally <Awakened> to see if they were nearby. I had fought with them before, and I knew they were the mightiest adventurers in the world.
I got word back that they were far away....but they could come. The only problem was Wuoshi had learnt of our plans and was guarding the druids ring....something had to be done....
Summoning all of my elvish power, I locked Wuoshi in a calming state. Over and over again I used my magic ....I was....controlling a dragon!!!

<Awakened> soon arrived and got to work setting up an ambush for the dragon. There weren't too many of us....I could tell it would be a hard fight.

Eventually we lured Wuoshi into our trap.....but this time Wuoshi was prepared!!! Wuoshi used ingenious dragon strategy, fearing and miasmaing in unusual fashion! We were forced to retreat!
We had to be careful ....we were fighting a dragon after all!

We quickly regrouped though and again lured the dragon out.....

Though, little did we know that before our second attack...Wuoshi had been eating druids at the ring to strengthen himself....when he came to us again, he was strong....stronger than I had ever seen!!!!
The battle waged for what seemed like an eternity!! It was the greatest battle I'd ever witnessed! I did what I could, staying back on the hill filling the sky with arrows....
Suddenly a great roar echoed through the forest, Wuoshi was angry! As always, my feet took control of themselves....and I began to run.....but this was different than I had ever experienced before....I didn't run away....no, I ran TOWARDS the dragon!!!!!!!!!
Straight into the battle the roar sent me!! It seemed I wasn't the only one that had learnt new strategies....Wuoshi had too!!!!!
Wuoshi turned his head towards me as he fought the others, staring at me for a moment as he gave a little grin....he....he had planned this?!
Just then I realized what he was grinning about! The miasma!!!!!! It shot out from his mouth and filled the area!! Choking me!!!! I had to escape!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was already at half life!!!! One more...and.....it would be over!!!!!!
I pulled myself together and regained control....running off into the forest as I pelted him with more arrows. I swear I could hear him chuckle.....he would pay for that!!!
The problem is as I ran out into the forest....a giant suddenly appeared and ambushed me!!! As if a dragon wasn't enough!
But they don't call me Windstep for nothing! I darted around the outskirts of the battle continuing to focus on the dragon.....the giant close behind me but unable to match my elvish speed.
I knew one more roar and I would be finished....even without the miasma, if I lost control of myself the giant would end me....we had to finish this battle!
Luckily Wuoshi was being worn down. I summoned all of my strength and fired my last few shots.....
Moments later, Wuoshi fell.....we had defeated him!!!!!!! With the dragon taken care of, the giant was easily put down as well.

As I was focusing on recovering from the battle, the rest of the party had gathered around Wuoshi. All of a sudden everyone broke out in cheers!
It was the bow!!! The skydarkener!!!!! They discovered Wuoshi had kept it on him!!!
And more, they knew it was the legendary treasure I was after for so long!!! Apparently before the battle even began they had agreed to give me the legendary weapon were it found....I was shocked!
I had hunted Wuoshi for so long..... and finally.....I had achieved what I set out to do! A new bow of great power!!!

After everyone had left, I ran off into the forest to hunt some tigeraptors. I had to see what the bow could do....
I was amazed!!!!!!! It truly is a legendary weapon!!!!! Stronger than I ever imagined!!!!!!
I hadn't even prepared to actually find it!!! Before the battle ended I was already making plans for hunting Wuoshi again and again!!
I wonder where I should go now that I'm not tied to the Wakening Lands any longer....I wonder where my adventures will take me, now that I have such a powerful weapon.
