Due to a personal conflict between a co-leader named Scrooge, I will no longer be guilding with him. So for any questions or concerns, ask him now.
I have to warn everybody that is going to be guilded with him. To put it simply, he has no regard as to how his words and actions impact other people. He will say whatever he wants, whenever he wants, because this is AMERICA, a free country. Even if those things attack his "friends" personal lives. He will piss people off, and he has in the past, and his guilds(plural) have failed because of this.
I will post a PM that Bryjun sent me regarding this very same issue, and I agree with him wholeheartedly:
"I will warn you though, please avoid Scrooge.
A couple times in the past he's organized groups from P99 to play on Uthgard with him. Both times have resulted in swift and utter failure, because Scrooge is just not a good person to play with. He'll take charge and belittle anyone with an opinion that differs from his own. He'll AFK in the middle of dungeons/pvp for huge swaths of time. If we wipe in a dungeon or in PvP he'll blame everyone but himself.
If you do include Scrooge with your group I will unfortunately have to find somewhere else to play, because he is just not a fun person to play DAOC with and history has shown that his negative attitude destroys guilds."
I was willing to give Scrooge another chance, but he's demonstrated time and again that he has no desire to keep his friends and to show them respect. I will not be playing with him this time around.
EDIT: Actually, I don't want one jerk to ruin my DaoC experience. While I won't be guilding with him, I still have high hopes to be a part of a separate guild that is a tight knit, FRIENDLY, nice guild. If there's anyone who's interested in that, shoot me a message. Thanks for your interest in the guild everyone.
