I installed eq at work like 8 months before I quit. Literally never ran the program.
AFTER I left, some computer maintenance guy points it out to the boss, without checking the "last accessed" date on the fucking program. He goes to the boss, points it out, big rah rah rah hah hah hah, and the blowjob doesn't even do a full investigation he just tells the computer maintenance to delete it and instantly assumes the worst.
I got accused of playing games at work, even though I only installed it out of sheer impulse randomly one day and literally never logged in because I didn't have time or desire.
Fucking HATE terrible management....nothing is worse for your career than terrible management. I told the boss "did you bother to check the last accessed date on this program? or how many hours it was run? I never played it" But since he didn't fucking do his diligence, the dark cloud stays and you lose your reference despite decent work performance.
