If I couldn't get my corpse either by force or stealth I'd log an alt and say GG. I have no player database, but keenly remember being hunted a few times while duo'ing HS with Loudog. I took my beatings and moved on.
@ sickpuppy: Yes it's me, though I was in RD at the time (never TMO) and checkraise was the only other cleric present to loot the gloves. He wouldn't even roll against me, just said take them. I'll never forget it. I'll also never forget how much I despised Mrbiggs. But then I had an opportunity to group with you in the Hole to help some other guy get an item for his epic. You and I were the more experienced players of the group. I was hesitant and apprehensive to group with you at first but quickly found that you were highly experienced and actually very friendly.
Sektor, et al: you were never the type that paid much attention to players like me, not that I needed that attention. You got caught, took your licks, moved on. I wish others would too.. I have no grievances and you're a decent guy.
Colgate: always extremely fair and good to me, had an amazing playing with your day your guild. Had things been different after nihilum split I think you'd have really appreciated my council.
This thread has gotten slightly off topic but I'll say I really am happy to see some familiar folks posting here. I doubt I have it in me to restart on a progressive server but I'm enticed at the idea of coming back to red soon
