It'd be nice to have a Bard of our own for our guild/P99-crew groups, but if not I'm sure we'll be able to find one in-game. Depending on whether our group is more melee or caster type, a Bard's Endurance Song can make a huge difference - otherwise we wouldn't really need the Mana Song if I'll be a Mentalist. Having a Warden would be really good too, for melee groups especially, with their Damage Add chant and PBT (Pulsing Blade Turn) - this is kind of like a pulsing Rune but instead of absorbing a specific amount of damage like in EQ, it absorbs 1 entire melee hit, regardless of how much damage it does!

My personal advice is, don't play a class unless you really enjoy doing so! I usually pick and stick to one char like I would in EQ, but with DAoC it's a good idea to try to have 1 Caster Main and 1 Melee Main so you can experience the different sides of gameplay.

Use the BETA period to try different classes, especially ones you have never played before. Although it'd be great to have a PBAOE Bomb group for PvE and PvP both, it's some of the strongest spell damage in the game, and I'd support it with my healing and AoE DoT.

I'll re-post the Class Descriptions from my old thread so people can get a better idea and understanding of what to expect, cause while there are alot of similarities between EQ and DAoC classes, there are also many differences as well.
