Personal opinion: we should fail a ring war and spawn Dain at a convenient time for all of the people who aren't in raid guilds to turn in 1000 9th rings, then /random or footrace on a called signal or whanot.
note: this is not the official position of awakened, just a random guy who wants to turn in a 9th ring
P.S. Comparing a conceded KT to a contested Dain is very disingenuous and has nothing to do with the principle of the matter. Though it was a nice gesture.
