Kunark's only redeeming quality was epics.
The dungeons are inferior to classic dungeons. The open zones are too large and empty. The port options are absolutely horrible. Likewise the melee bind choices are weak. Iksars were cool though.
Velious tried to factor faction in more, which was a good choice, ally up. But they made some critical failures. The depth of the Dwarf city far exceeds that of Kael and Skyshrine in terms of trade skills, quests and general functionality. NToV killing dragon faction is dumb, they're evil dragons, they should only be on their own faction. The hero factions should have more purpose beyond just city leader quests. Melee were far too powerful in relation to casters in this expansion. Almost no caster upgrades in Velious other than bane nukes.
I'd favor OoW or GoD after it was patched up over those two as 3rd place behind Luclin and of course PoP, the hands down best.
