I really think shaman are great in duos before 56, and you'll spend plenty of time solo after that. Here are some things i would look for:
Dragonwing mantle (which one depends on your budget)
Dragonhorn bracers (again, which ones depends on your budget)
Giant scalemail sleeves
Idol of the thorned
65hp rings
Coldainskin gloves
Coldain boots (prob other goodones too)
Cloak...lots of good options...cloak of the Maelstrom is p good and only 2k
Neck you can get ww rotting talis +4 for free
Crystal spider eyes for face
