I'm amused at how many people I run in to who mistake my Shadow Knight for a Paladin. Once upon a time I actually had one group holler at me for not healing anyone...had a good laugh over it once I told 'em to /who me.
If you make a Shadow Knight twink, try to buy items you'll be able to re-sell without much difficulty. The SK is probably the most common class I see people parting out and selling off in East Commons. I'd try to avoid racial cultural armor if possible since it sells more slowly than general-use stuff, as well as avoiding nonrefundable multiquested nodrop items unless you break the 50's and find you'll stick with the class long-term.
