EQ is a big time commitment. Have a wife and kids myself and I just felt guilty even playing casually with <Friends>. This was time I could be outside or teaching them things.. Anything really. Guild dissolving was actually a real blessing.
Could not imagine putting in the hours/effort empire has... What are they gonna have to show for it? Pixels on a 100 pop server with no pvp? This is why Nihilum had such a high turnover rate...shits no fun this way.
