It's contradictory. OP seems to more so reflects narcissism. If their pursuit of happiness conflicts with yours, or isn't something that makes you happy, then you may shout "mean" at them. Who are you to say that's wrong?
Maybe some people don't want spirituality, such as Penn Jillette, but he's happy, doesn't follow such a philosophy at all. And you know what? He gets along with people that are spiritual too, even as an Atheist as he is.
You see, happiness is nothing, it's fleeting, such as your baby rattle that long since quit making you happy. Only joy is lasting, spiritual or not, but not in yourself, only in others. The rest in about meaningless, fleeting, can even be narcissistic, just like those string of images I posted before the get off my lawn.

wooo daywolf come down.. sit sit boy sit
I'm not argueing this phillosophy, i'm argueing the point about exissetentially not needing anything "physical" to attain happiness
no one "needs" dat physical, but that physical does take care of those that aren't mad butthurts
Can't speak for the massive butthurts, some seem to do ok, but i'm not in their brains, and I don't get to live the moment of their death... so IDK what they regret or fear or if they sleep well
Anyway, if you use some modicum of rationality when you go "MEAN UR MEAN!!!" you get more leverage then if your just "I FEEL THREATENED BY YOU BUT YOUR NOT DOING ANYTHING TO ME, I'M JUST MAD AND CONFUSED, YOUR MEAN"
The dudes most upset by me... are the dudes most confused typically about thesmelves. Just sayin
but like this logic is all circular, your looking outside yourself, be selfish and u'll see what i'm tryin to say... it doesn't matter the meannesss outside of u, u got to be nice to urself and those you care for and care for what your heart cares for not what your brain is telling u need to 2 do to survive
