This is an open-world mmo, there is no one single way to do things. Such as what may be good for a wood elf ranger may not be as good for an ogre shammy.
In most cases though, it's wherever there is a group to join. This is one reason why places like gfay are popular, it's the population. But there are different routs depending on what you want to accomplish, such as gear drops, faction, xp, coin, or a mix of those. And that can be of varying importance depending on the player, the class and their play style.
But where you are at in gfay, it's safe to say easy leveling in groups is the norm.
