But current events, world affairs, history, the strategic think tanks I follow? hmm... there is a lot to be said for the pursuit of knowledge. It's less about knowing the future, but just having understanding of the many possible scenarios, much like chess. But chess is just a western point of view, one must also understand 'Go' in our current age. Though I'm more of a Mahjong player, myself, in respect of actual games of the sort.
