really shouldn't worry about the starter stat points. I have a necro with all points into sta (yea that was dumb) got him to 59 and he still plays just as well as any other necro. And my pally i put all my points into CHA and even went with CHA based gear so i can pacify and shit it worked out just fine. Once you get some lvls and items starter points matter less and less.
They are the most noticeable for lvl 1-20 id say, which is kinda the purpose of them i guess.
