If you ever wonder why all those young talented teachers quit after a few years or end up not giving a shit, it's because the system so is fucked with red tape and backwards administrative policies that no one who actually cares can hang in there.
Plus, teachers end up having to spend their own money on half the shit they need to use in the classroom. It's fucking retarded. I can't imagine how as a society we pay the people who are molding the future generation's minds a low wage while people literally doing nothing but moving numbers around make millions.
