See, I like this. We agree fraud is bad. You just don't think it is pervasive. We agree racism is bad. I just don't think it is pervasive. We agree spending frivolously is bad. We just don't agree on what is frivolous

To your question though, no, i would not support a program like the one above because people can already obtain photo ID easily and ought to do so on their own. If it would allay fears of prejudice and allow us to move forward though, I could see it as a compromise.
