Why invite someone to have a serious discussion about a serious topic then back down from an honest question with a smug attitude?
I'm not going to go on like Bog over here and retroll for 200 posts. But if someone is genuinely interested in conversing on a subject I find value in, I'm willing to oblige. Its just sad when someone of obvious intellect refuses to actually address a topic and instead chooses to look down their nose in some pathetic attempt to get the opposition to balk.
You want to talk about foundations, then you need to be prepared to talk about reality. Reality is the only proper measuring stick to judge the degree of human reaction to policy, everything else is hypothetical. So when you're ready, jot down your soaring purposeful progressive rhetoric, and I'll be happy to show you a laundry list of examples from history where ideas like those simply. don't. work.
