Even if they didn't know the spawn time. Isn't it kinda fucking evil and gay as hell to take a mob from a guild that hasn't killed him yet? On top of the fact they were in the zone first ? They were also waiting for awhile?

Feeling bad for a guild for poopsocking a mob and being beaten to it by another guild mobilising faster? if anything this is the sort of thing that is good for the server. Just because you sit at the spawn point doesn't mean you'll get the mob if another guild moves in faster.
To my understanding doze had a crack at him, but wiped. IB then killed him. Thing about poopsocking is... a lot of the people there aren't paying attention. So they're going to struggle if they pull too early etc.
Show me a competitive raid guild who stops and says "let's leave this boss so <guild> can get their first kill" and i'll show you a not very competitive guild, reason killing a boss is an achievement is because you have to beat the other guilds to it, and if you mess up even slightly, they'll capitalise on this and you'll lose it.
