Many black people do suffer because some commit crimes (disproportionately). It's not about some collective punishment. It's about the association between criminality and poverty. And no, it doesn't affect all black people. Though I know many more unfairly suffer from associated perception and that is why addressing disproportionate criminality needs to be a priority for our nation as a whole.
