Many black people do suffer because some commit crimes (disproportionately). It's hard for a man to take care of his children if he's in jail and it is equally hard on a child to grow up with a father in jail. It is hard on spouses and parents and siblings. It's not about some collective punishment. It's about the association between criminality and poverty. And no, it doesn't affect all black people. Though I know many more unfairly suffer from associated perception and that is why addressing disproportionate criminality needs to be a priority for our nation as a whole.

As you are singing a much different tune now, I will drop the subject. I'm glad we agree that, we, as a nation, must make an effort to solve the problem, instead of guffawing about how bad blacks are.
