Why did you change what I said? Accident or trying to emphasize a point?

While a commendable troll, the gender argument is absurd. Men are male and women are female by definition. Males bear a Y chromosome and/or produce sperm cells by definition. Females bear two X chromosomes and/or produce eggs. Yes, there are interred people who do not fit nicely into one category or the other. However they, like everyone else have no choice in the matter.

Masculinity and femininity can be fluid, but maleness and femaleness are immutable and very narrowly defined. Yes, "gender" encompasses social and cultural roles, but those roles are little more than an extension of the natural propensities exhibited by each sex over the 160,000 year or so history of our species. Gender is also binary, again by definition as either male sex or female sex.

Do some people harbor a profound desire to be and be treated as a member of the opposite sex? Sure. Does that mean they are? No. Should others be compelled to join in the delusion? No, just as those with such inclinations should not be compelled to adhere to "social norms" so long as their behavior does not harm others.
On to what you said now:

I'll bite. This logic is flawed in that it's determined by other people.
Such is language. Don't like a word? Make a new one.

Science says males and females are basically differentiated by genetics and reproductive characteristics. But science also acknowledges hermaphrodism. Species that change sex naturally. And geneticly abnormal variants.
Agreed, but if 'A' is defined as 'X' and 'B' is defined as 'Y', the existence of 'C' expressing some combination of qualities of 'X' and 'Y' does not invalidate the definitions of 'A' as 'X' and 'B' as 'Y'.

This is where you made a gigantic leap:

Basically leaving gender to be a sociological and philosophical individual choice no one person or group can theoretically enforce as strongly as a natural law for another so inclined to choose otherwise.
No, see above. However, I'm all for coming up with new terms to allow people to more effectively communicate their preferences. I think Trans-woman is a useful term in that regard. It let's other people know "Hey, I am male, but want to be female. Please treat me accordingly." I don't think information like that should be broadcast like though (like religious/political bumper stickers). Most people treat others as they see them, based on their own preferences, not those of the recipient. For example, I generally prefer interactions with clean, pleasant or attractive people to those with unclean, unpleasant or unattractive people.

Indeed. You are free to proclaim yourself whatever you so desire just as others are free to disagree. I fancy myself as a banana because they are pale, delicious and lethal.
