Need I more coffee? a-theist. The a- is no or not or apart from. Not necessarily anti- which can mean similar to but in contrast, deceptively so. But it's root is apo- Usage: apotheistic. From the greek, not from old English a- (on, in, toward etc) usage: astride, ablaze etc.
