Hello Jeremy,

First of all, Clever's post above is great! It's cool to see what people on this server can do.

I woke up early today and did some messing around on my digital piano before work this morning and did a couple different tracks and played live in order to verify that it actually is me playing. Because it is live and recorded by a laptop, the sound quality is not exceptionally great and I make a lot of flaws. However, I think that's sort of the fun part of live music. I'm sticking to the original deadline and considering this my final submission.

This song is called Miss January, and I messed around with some of my favorite parts of it because I don't entirely remember all of it. The original is rather long as well. Originally, I wrote and recorded it back in 2009 for a girl I was dating at the time, and it's very personal to me. https://soundcloud.com/roxbury-and-luke/miss-january is the original recording; it has some fun synthesizer strings throughout and some cool effects at the end. However, the relationship went very south, and I just like to play the instrumentals now and avoid singing the lyrics.

I wrote this song called "Eulogy" for a pop-punk band I used to play in as a sophomore in high school in 2004. It was sort of our soft piano ballad song. The full band version can be found here and has some nice vocal layering: https://soundcloud.com/roxbury-and-luke/03-eulogy
I wrote this song about my aunt who died from lung cancer, and she was probably the first person in my life close to me that died. It's pretty simple piano medley, but it has a lot of personal meaning to me.

This is a part of another song my old band used to play called Red Zone; this recording is pretty sloppy I'll admit. The original is very metal inspired, and I pretty much hate metal. Here's the original track: https://youtu.be/HlMKrw58syM
In the original, there is a dueling piano/guitar solo that's pretty fun to play; you can imagine where a guitar would fit in the part in which I'm playing very quickly.

Threw the Final Fantasy Prelude in for fun because video game music is fun to play. Final Fantasy 3 (6) on Super Nintendo is my favorite game. It came out when I was five years old, and I could hardly read. However, I loved watching my older brothers play it, and I would start the game up and just sit in one of the inns listening to the prelude play its 16-bit grandeur. I'll admit that this was another pretty sloppy live recording.

Terrible rendition with lots of mistakes. I don't really like Van Halen. But if your synthesizer comes with the preset sound, holy shit, you have to play "Jump". My old high school pop-punk band actually used to open our shows with this song. I would play a Roland AX-7 Keytar to start the show. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uu6Ws4Lo0p8 shows some footage of the keytar coming out back in 2007. You can see me go a bit nuts in the next song we play with some sweet microphone swings.

Yeehaw.
