I'm with the rebellion, just don't see it playing out as some sort of dystopian civil war fantasy. If anything we'll wage guerrilla war against some lesser nation looking to exploit our vulnerability after a few more years of failed economic and social policies and then rebuild from there.

We are isolated. Who are you going to wage a guerilla war against? Mexico, Peru, and Brazil are hot on our heels I guess economically ready to exploit us.
