I've seen numerous posts about this that are really old and it seems to keep resurfacing. The sarnak/brute cycle does not initiate after Bloodscale the Viscous dies. It used to stop it for like 3-4 hours but now it has been 3 days and I've not noticed it resume. I don't know if it's indefinite or even longer than 3 days. Regardless, it used to only reset it for a few hours.
