Least for myself some cons I see of FFA is people will jump from your guild to the #1 guild and make all the work you put in with someone against you.
With teams they would need to reroll to that team.
That and you would be more willing and wanting to help people on your team because you know that you all have to work together.
FFA has been since release just a gigantic zerg and completely one sided. It may be that way with teams but at least you'd have a dedicated #2 I think.
