I'm not a geneticist, so I don't have an original argument of my own for rebuttal. However a quick google search has brought me to many explanations of how chromosomes numbers may not be the road block to evolution that you propose. I'm happy that you pointed this out to me, however, and I'm going to enjoy studying the matter further.
See, this is how science works, a question like "how can animals evolve into different species if they have different chromosome numbers?" leads to investigation into the matter and new discoveries. Religion is content to say "god made it that way" and leave it at that. By raising questions like these you are becoming a more scientific thinker. The next step is to come up with possible ideas that could answer the question and systematically test them. But I realize that is not your intent. Your intent is to raise these questions to trip someone up in their arguments rather than actually find something out.

My intent was to get a rebuttal to my argument against. It is not my fault you cannot offer that. No need to say that I did not want to find something out. But let me ask you this. Why is it so implausible to just leave it at "not possible"? You are asking me to help come up with answers to support a theory that is wrong. How can, and why would I do that?
