Ok so answer this. If you took two cats and breed them 1 billion times (impossible but necessary for the argument), what do you end up with? Do you honestly think that one of those billion times will yield a dog, or a moose, or a whale? You may get a different color, or one that has a mutation, but the DNA cannot change to something completely different. Evolution is not possible. Adaptation is. Learn the difference.

Now try that with single celled organisms, lots of them... and make sure they are spread out through all the water on earth so different colonies of these organisms are living in different climates/ecosystems. You can see where I am getting at with this.
Ever wonder where new breeds of dogs come from? It doesn't take a billion times, or even a million to start changes. Yeah, it's still a dog but hardly the same animal. You do realize that a Pit Bulls and Jack Russels are both terriers, right?
