I'm not talking about a Vulak fight, I'm talking about fights against Roy. Fights against triplets. If it was a Vulak fight, that'd make sense, and I typically didn't ask for buffs during those encounters. But in DPS races, you bet your ass I'm asking for a focus if it starts to fade. As any responsible top 5 DPSers would do.

But you're right, I didn't slob your knob when I apped, so of course you didn't like me. And I got by just fine. Weta had no problem with buffing me. So I had no problem helping him with his ring 7 quest down the line. Amage was always willing to get me ported into the raid. So I gave him tons of helmets and heads whenever he needed faction.

Treat others the way you would like to be treated. That was your message, right?
