Oh yea a loan to prevent you from insolvency with a whopping 2% interest rate, we sure are villains. And then the Marshall Plan... oh God such assholes. Think that has more to do with the destruction of your empire than anything else.
Like if the US took out 10% of its current GDP in loans and then shrunk down to just California, that'd cause some problems.
