I enjoyed TBC the most PvP-wise, but a TBC server won't ever have a healthy population due to PvE reasons. TBC isn't a very PUG friendly expansion outside of Karazhan and Gruuls. You can throw consumables at PvE with a PUG in Vanilla. In WotLK, you can easily PUG ToC and at least half of ICC with the buff. Catacylsm+ has LFR.

i've pugged almost every raid in TBC but it was not an easy process to say the least. some of the trash pulls in the eye are just brutal for pick up groups. and most of that stuff was never trivialized with sunwell gear, keeping even top guilds on their toes while they were farming it.
would have to agree. outside of some day/week 1 wotlk era raids that saw nerfs immediately, tbc was the most hardcore expac for pve. the arenas were also horribly imbalanced, but could easily be fixed by a dev team willing to make some non-classic changes.
sucks too, because tbc was the most fun era.

TBC rogues, and wotlk priests were wow's high point for class design imo. shit was so fun. i never got warglaives to drop (server had shit luck, only 1 offhand ever dropped) but even then i just felt so godly.
wotlk-era disc priest was the best/most fun healer class in any game except for maybe DAoC. and shadow was also fun as hell that era.
